Trader Notes: Michael van de Poppe <a href="https://x.com/CryptoMichNL/status/1999105112422162789">highlighted</a> that both the Nasdaq and Bitcoin dipped post-FOMC to flush out late long positions. However, while the Nasdaq has already fully reversed the move and reclaimed 25,700, Bitcoin remains $2,500–$3,000 below its pre-dip level. 



This divergence suggests Bitcoin may soon play catch-up, with a potential upside move after the U.S. market opens today or tomorrow.



Crypto trader Jelle <a href="https://x.com/CryptoJelleNL/status/1999143665759895714">added</a> added that Bitcoin continues to maintain its pattern of higher lows and higher highs as it works to reclaim the $93,000 level. With the weekly close approaching, the chart would look far more constructive if Bitcoin secures a reclaim of this level rather than facing rejection.

ZEC has retraced sharply from its $300 support base and is now testing the first major Fibonacci resistance cluster.&nbsp;



The 20-, 50- and 100-day EMAs are beginning to curl upward, a sign that selling pressure is weakening and buyers are starting to regain control.



The next retracement levels define the path forward.&nbsp;



Resistance sits at $459 at the 0.382 level, followed by $508 at the 0.5 mark and $556 at the 0.618 extension, which represents the largest profit-taking zone for traders.&nbsp;



A clean break above $459 opens the door for a test of $508, where short-covering typically accelerates.



The Supertrend remains green at $381 and the price is decisively above it.&nbsp;



A continuation through the upper resistance could trigger a trend flip, a move that historically attracts momentum-driven buyers.

ETH is trading around $3,203 after completing a breakout and retest pattern on the daily chart. 



The token broke above a downtrend line that capped price for nearly two months, pulled back into it and is now attempting to rebound.&nbsp;



The move marks ETH's first clear bullish structure in weeks.



ETH is currently sitting near the 20-day EMA at $3,121, which acts as the first support.&nbsp;



A bounce from this level opens upside targets at $3,309, $3,382 and $3,453.&nbsp;



These levels align with a cluster of EMAs stacked above price, which may create early resistance but also signal trend improvement if reclaimed.



The Supertrend indicator remains red, meaning the broader structure is still not fully bullish.&nbsp;



But ETH's refusal to set new lows, combined with a rising series of higher lows since the $2,900–$3,000 base, suggests sellers are weakening.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Solana Drops 4% But Firms Up At Key Support Zone</h3>

Solana is trading near $130 and remains inside a defined downtrend, though price continues to hold support between $129 and $133.&nbsp;



This range has produced every short-term bounce during the past three weeks, keeping the structure intact as long as buyers defend it.



Fibonacci levels outline the next reaction zones.&nbsp;



Resistance sits at $133.12 (0.236) and $140.40 (0.382), followed by the key breakout zone at $146 to $147 (0.5).&nbsp;



The upper extension at $153 to $156 (0.618) aligns with major EMAs between $137 and $151, forming a heavy ceiling.



To reverse momentum, SOL must first close above $140 and then $146.&nbsp;



A break through $146 would allow a move toward $151 to $155, where trendline resistance and EMAs converge.



The Supertrend remains red near $155.59, showing the macro trend is still bearish, but early stabilization suggests seller momentum is fading.

Technical Analysis: XRP continues to trade inside a large symmetrical triangle that has been building since July. 



The token sits near the lower support trendline, making the $1.94 zone a critical area.&nbsp;



Holding above this level keeps the structure intact and allows for a move back toward the mid-range.



Bollinger Bands show price hugging the lower band, often a sign of seller exhaustion during compression phases.&nbsp;



If XRP defends $1.94, the next levels to watch are the mid-band at $2.1 and the descending trendline at $2.22 to $2.28.&nbsp;



A close above that band opens the path to $2.35, where the Supertrend indicator flips.



A bullish breakout above $2.35 would shift market momentum and set up targets near $2.9 to $3.&nbsp;



On the downside, a clean break below $1.94 exposes the lower trendline around $1.85 to $1.88.

A total of 117 new firms adopted Bitcoin in 2025, but activity peaked in July. 



Quarterly growth highlights the slowdown: Q1 saw 16 companies, Q2 and Q3 jumped to 39 and 53 companies respectively. 



However, Q4 saw a slowdown to 9 so far.



Most of these treasuries remain small—147 companies hold under 500 BTC, and only a handful exceed 1,000 BTC. MicroStrategy remains the extreme outlier with 660,624 BTC.

The company said the feature mirrors Coinbase's familiar interface but executes trades entirely on-chain.



Andrew Allen, who leads Coinbase's Solana initiatives, said users will gain immediate access to "millions" of on-chain assets, while issuers with sufficient liquidity can reach Coinbase's global user base without undergoing a centralized listing process.&nbsp;



Coinbase engineer Sabs Sachdeva added that although the interface appears similar to existing trading screens, "all functions operate on-chain."



Coinbase also introduced filters for Solana-issued assets and new tools for viewing on-chain positions and activity.&nbsp;

SOL remains inside a firm downtrend, but the chart is showing the first hints of a potential short-term reversal. 



The SAR indicator flipped below price for the first time in weeks, and Fibonacci levels show a clear upside window toward $146–$150, representing roughly 10% from current levels.



The token continues to test the 0.236 retracement near $133.&nbsp;



Buyers have defended this range repeatedly as the final support before the October breakdown area.&nbsp;



As long as SOL stays above $129–$133, the rebound structure remains intact.



Key technical levels include the 0.382 retracement around $140.4, the breakout zone between $146 and $147, and the 0.618 band at $154–$156.&nbsp;



A move above $146 would open a clean path toward resistance at $152, where multiple EMAs converge.



Although all major EMAs still sit above price and continue to slope lower, short squeezes frequently begin from this type of compression structure.&nbsp;

Coinbase's Solana Move Sets SOL Up For A 10% Rebound—Under One Condition

Oxbridge Re Holdings Ltd.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/OXBR" target="_blank" class="ticker-link" data-ticker="OXBR" data-exchange="NASDAQ" rel="noopener">(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/OXBR">OXBR</a>)</a> and its subsidiary, SurancePlus, announced Thursday that they have partnered with Alphaledger to bring tokenized reinsurance securities to the Solana blockchain.



Announced at Solana Breakpoint 2025 in Grand Cayman, the collaboration aims to open a historically institutional, uncorrelated asset class to a broader investor base through on-chain real-world assets.



Under the agreement, SurancePlus will list its balanced-yield and high-yield tokenized reinsurance products targeting annual returns of 20% and 42% on Alphaledger's regulated, Solana-native platform.

The fully collateralized instruments will be available to eligible Reg D and Reg S participants, including sovereign wealth funds, institutions, corporates, and qualified accredited investors, with a minimum investment of $5,000, the company said.



SurancePlus stated that its current offerings are on track to generate returns of roughly 25% and 42% without leverage, highlighting the resilience of reinsurance as an alternative asset class.



By digitizing interests in reinsurance contracts as on-chain RWAs, Oxbridge and SurancePlus aim to move a traditionally restricted market beyond large institutional buyers and into the portfolios of accredited investors seeking diversification away from traditional equities and bonds.



The integration leverages Alphaledger's Solana-regulated infrastructure, Vulcan Forge, positioning reinsurance-linked RWAs within one of blockchain's fastest-growing ecosystems.

Last month, Oxbridge reported its<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/11/g48703807/oxbridge-highlights-202526-contract-performance-updates-and-reports-q3-2025-results" rel="noreferrer noopener"> third-quarter 2025 results</a>, with the Balanced Yield token tracking about 25% versus its 20% target and the High Yield token on pace for 42%. Net premiums were $555,000 for the quarter and $1.73 million for the first nine months. Restricted cash increased to $7.18 million, and the net loss narrowed to $187,000, or 2 cents per share.



Price Action: OXBR shares closed 0.72% higher at $1.40 on Wednesday.

But no version of Form 1040 requires taxpayers to list wallet addresses or provide keys.&nbsp;



The screenshot instead shows Form 9297, a follow-up request the IRS sends to a small group of individuals in cases involving delinquent filings or unpaid taxes.&nbsp;



The form is typically delivered in person once a case escalates to field-office attention.



Misinterpretations accelerated when commentary framed the form as a blanket mandate.&nbsp;



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">What IRS Rules Actually Change In 2026</h3>



The IRS will <a href="https://protos.com/no-the-irs-is-not-forcing-you-to-list-all-your-crypto-wallets/">introduce</a> new cost-basis reporting rules on January 1, 2026, but none require taxpayers to list wallets or provide public keys.&nbsp;



The changes relate to broker reporting and taxable events, not wallet inventories.



Tax professionals note that Form 9297 can request wallet details during enforcement cases, but such requests target specific taxpayers under investigation and are not part of standard annual filing.



The panic reflects recurring confusion around digital-asset guidance as regulatory agencies update terminology and reporting obligations.&nbsp;



It also highlights how viral misinformation can escalate concerns about surveillance and financial privacy, especially among cryptocurrency users wary of federal oversight.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Privacy Debates Gain Momentum</h3>



Cryptocurrency advocates say the episode underscores why Washington's approach to digital-asset oversight is under sharper scrutiny than ever.&nbsp;



Even though the viral claim was incorrect, the sheer speed of the panic shows how fragile public trust has become around financial surveillance.



The fear also reflects deeper anxiety about how far Federal agencies could stretch their authority once new 2026 reporting rules take effect.&nbsp;



Industry lawyers warn that wallet-level data, if ever requested broadly, would create an unprecedented visibility window into Americans' financial activity.

No, Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP Traders Don't Need To List Their Crypto Wallets For The IRS, But...

Bitcoin is showing little reaction to the Federal Reserve's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/macro-economic-events/25/12/49327345/former-fed-economist-warns-more-rate-cuts-might-signal-trouble-says-this-could-be-powells-last-cut">25-basis-point rate cut</a> and continues to trade around $90,000, with liquidations at $497.83 million over the past 24 hours.



Bitcoin ETFs saw $223.5 million in net inflows on Wednesday, while Ethereum ETFs reported $57.6 million in net inflows.



Time To Have Fear?



Michael van de Poppe <a href="https://x.com/CryptoMichNL/status/1999047100940595220">noted</a> that Bitcoin's failure to reclaim the key $91,800 level after the FOMC triggered a market-wide pullback. 



Still, the broader structure continues to print higher lows, keeping the short-term uptrend intact. He highlighted the key levels to watch:

<li>$89,500: Losing this opens the door to an $80,000 double-bottom.</li>



<li>$91,800: A reclaim would restore bullish momentum; another rejection increases downside risk.</li>
</ul>



Van de Poppe added that full-blown fear hasn't hit yet, and Ethereum currently looks more compelling than Bitcoin if upward momentum resumes.



Crypto chart analyst Ali Martinez <a href="https://x.com/alicharts/status/1998967729005441317">noted</a> that Bitcoin's strongest historical buy-the-dip opportunities have appeared when trader realized losses plunge below –37%, signaling deep capitulation. 



The metric currently sits at –18%, implying the market hasn't yet reached the kind of panic that forms generational bottoms.



Lennaert Snyder <a href="https://x.com/LennaertSnyder/status/1999059611916132817">pointed out</a> that Ethereum rejected his ~$3,400 long target and has now slipped back under ~$3,300, flipping that level into firm resistance. 



The price is hovering on the ~$3,100 support/start-impulse zone. He expects a clean pre-weekend trade setup if volatility increases.



Crypto trader Niels <a href="https://x.com/Web3Niels/status/1998770809066627104">highlighted</a> that XRP's long-term structure continues to strengthen. 



The critical $2 level, last cycle's major resistance, has now flipped into strong support. Combined with growing institutional accumulation, holding above $2 sets the stage for XRP's next major rally.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">&#8216;Buy&#8217; Rating For American Bitcoin</h2>



Roth Capital analyst Darren Aftahi initiated coverage of ABTC with a &#8220;Buy&#8221; rating and announced a price target of $4, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/ABTC/analyst-ratings">according to Benzinga</a>, representing a 106% upside from Wednesday&#8217;s closing price. 



Aftahi is found to be correct<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/588b3f4d77f9dd0001460894/darren-aftahi"> 47%</a> of the time.



Interestingly, Roth Capital is the underwriter for a special-purpose acquisition company called Colombier Acquisition Corp. III, which lists Donald Trump Jr. as a director, per a Reuters report.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Lies Ahead For ABTC After Lock-Up Expiration?</h2>



The bullish analysis came despite the stock&#8217;s ongoing troubles, with its price tumbling more than 60% over the last month, and nearly 20% over the week.



The decline was triggered by the expiration of ABTC&#8217;s lock-up period for early investors, including co-founder Eric Trump, allowing them to sell their shares and realize profits.



While Trump said he is <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/crypto/cryptocurrency/25/12/49177052/eric-trump-says-hes-not-selling-as-american-bitcoin-shares-crash-38-fundamentals-are-virtually-unmatched">&#8220;100% committed" and won&#8217;t be selling his stake</a>, the stock plunged 38% in the immediate aftermath.



American Bitcoin, a majority-owned subsidiary of Hut 8 Corp. <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/HUT" target="_blank" class="ticker-link" data-ticker="HUT" data-exchange="NASDAQ" rel="noopener">(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/HUT">HUT</a>)</a>, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/crypto/cryptocurrency/25/09/47489856/trump-familys-stake-swells-to-1-46-billion-as-american-bitcoin-makes-stock-market-debut" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">completed its all-stock merger</a> and began trading on Nasdaq in early September.



The company is building its own strategic Bitcoin reserve and currently holds 4,783 BTC, worth $432 million,&nbsp;<a href="https://bitcointreasuries.net/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">according&nbsp;</a>to Bitcointreasuries.net.
